I had the privilege of coming to know Jesus in a personal way when I was 23 years old. A year later God called me to preach His Word. As I continued to fulfill my calling and grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ, I have earned my Doctorate of Theology through Macedonia Baptist College.

After pastoring for many years, I was clearly called, by God, to Mount Olive Baptist Church. It has been a tremendous journey as God has continued to shape me into the man and pastor He desires me to be.

Mount Olive Baptist Church has a rich history and testimony of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ both in Polk City and neighboring communities. As we continue to grow, we want to serve God and our community to our fullest. My focus is to continually keep God’s Word at the center of all we do, and to continually equip and mobilize our members for the accomplishment of the Great Commission.

I am deeply in love with my wife Sarah, who has been a great blessing to my life and ministry for the past 32 years. She tirelessly supports me and shares my passion to minister to God’s people. She is highly involved in our ministry. God has blessed us with five children (Leon, Timothy, Christopher, Hannah, and Faith) that we love dearly.
